New years resolutions never worked for me. I've rarely seen anyone who it has worked for to be honest. Instead, I like to choose a word that best encapsulates the vibes I wish to co-create and experience. (I got this idea from someone else, but cannot, for the life of me remember who it was. Sorry whoever you are, but thank you!)
Last year was Ease. Before that was Empowerment. And the year before, Freedom. This year, its all about Connection.
Connection. Connection. Connection.
I had quite a profound new years experience that led me to acknowledging this very powerful truth within myself. That its all I want. Its all I've ever wanted. Connection is everything to me. When I feel connected, I feel I have everything.
My awakening experience was this connection. The relationship and the soul I had it with, was and is this connection. It was divine connection. And I want it back. And I need to acknowledge that. Daily.
Every bit of my healing journey as been about coming back to this very simple, yet powerful truth. So I'm acknowledging that for this year. This is my truth. And my only desire.
To connect to divine love and divine power, above all things.
To connect to myself within this.
To acknowledge and connect to others in this, and nurture the connections in my life that are already like this, as well as create space for new connections.
To connect to my sense of pleasure, bliss and joy about life, and follow it, daily.
To connect to the present moment.
To connect to divine abundance.
To connect to my purpose and create connection through it and with it.
May this year be about connection. True connection. Connection to our divinity, in ourselves and each other. Connection to community, local and worldly. May we unify in this. May it be free and flowing. May it be the kind of connection that is unconditional and deeply accepting of who we are and where we are at right now. May this connection show us the perfection of all things in this moment. May it be authentic. May it include our messy human process.
May this connection teach us harmony. A harmony that shows the perfection of each being's uniqueness and how we all fit perfectly into the divine picture of this earth.
May 2022 bring you connection and whatever your deepest, most truthful desire is.
